  • Hi, I'm Tara, a Melbourne Mum.

    Pram Plates is a little project inspired by my daughter.

    In 2026, I stepped into the world of motherhood and quickly had two major realisations. First, I noticed that almost every stylish pram at the park or the local cafe looked exactly like mine. Second, I realised that between the sleep deprivation and the daily juggle, it would be incredibly easy to accidentally leave my pram behind one day.


    I needed a way to ensure that if my pram was ever lost—or if my family was ever separated in a crowd—my pram had a clear way of finding its way back to me.


    I came up with the simple idea of creating a sleek, durable plaque engraved with my name and mobile number to stick directly onto my pram frame. It was a small addition that provided a massive amount of peace of mind.


    After making a few for family and friends, I saw just how many other parents were looking for that same sense of security. What started as a personal solution quickly grew into a mission to help other families protect their investments and their most precious cargo.


    That’s how Pram Plates was born.
